The Local Economic and Social Development Agency uses the Google Analytics website tool to help it understand what the users use the website for and in order to make the improvements that are considered to be necessary for the users experience when they visit the website. Pursuant to the provisions established in the Google Analytics conditions, this tool obtains information anonymously and it provides data about the website trends, without identifying the individual visitors. Analytics uses its own cookies to follow the visitors’ interactions.
The cookie is used to store information, such as the time of the actual visit, if the visitor had visited the website before or data about the website from where the visitor has come. Google Analytics clients can access various reports on the way in which the visitors interact with their websites, so that they can improve them and make them more traceable. A different cookie is used for each website and visitors are not tracked between websites.
To disable this type of cookie, some type of browsers state when the cookies are sent, which means that they can be rejected in each of the cases. As well as rejecting cookies, the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on can be installed in your browser. This add-on stops Google Analytics from obtaining information about the visits to its website. For more information, please have a look at the Service Conditions in www.google.com. In any case, the Local Economic and Social Development Agency of the Alicante City Council would like to warn users that disabling cookies might prevent some of the options of the website pages from working properly.
